PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Food Authority (KPFA) in an operation in Kohat has recovered 40,000 spoiled eggs from a truck and arrested the owners for supplying spoiled eggs.
According to details, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Food Authority conducted operations in Kohat, Peshawar, Charsadda and Lower Dir. During the operations, 40,000 spoiled eggs were recovered from a truck in Kalu Banda area of Kohat and the owners were arrested for supplying spoiled eggs. Will be done
The Food Authority recovered 2,000 kilocalinasalts from a warehouse near Haji Camp base and more than 10,000 liters of counterfeit drinks in Sherpao Bazaar area of Charsadda.
Officials said that 2 distribution centers have been sealed and fined for finding counterfeit drinks. Similarly, 3,000 liters of counterfeit drinks were recovered from a warehouse in Adezai Tehsil, Lower Dir.
The Food Safety Authority also conducted an operation in Nowshera Kalan Bazaar and recovered 80 km of banned china salt.
