Saudi consumers happy with 5G service, quarterly report released – IG News

Riyadh: The Saudi Information Technology and Communication Authority has released its first quarterly report on FiveG Internet in the kingdom this year.

According to Arab media reports, the relevant agency in Saudi Arabia is working to provide FiveG internet in more areas, currently this service is available in 53 commissioners of the kingdom.

The Saudi Information Technology and Communication Authority says that during the first quarter of 2021, FiveG facility is being provided in the country on a large scale. The quarterly report on digital and internet speed graphs, ‘Maqias’, states that various companies are involved in service delivery.

FiveG service launched in Saudi Arabia

According to the quarterly report, STC and Zen FiveG service providers are better in terms of performance. Both the companies provided FiveG service in 43 commissioners.

The report also said that the average download speed of G5 in the country reached 322 megabytes per second. The Zen company is prominent in providing this service with speeds of up to 350 megabytes per second. STC is second with an average speed of 348 megabytes per second and the mobile company is third.
