LAHORE: More than 65 buffaloes have been killed in a power outage in the Punjab capital.
According to details, electric wires fell on buffaloes while bringing them to Sabzazar area of Lahore, which resulted in death of animals. Police took notice of the incident.
Police have taken action on the deaths of buffaloes in bringing greenery.
Residents of the area have lodged a number of complaints against the concerned administration, asking them to fix the wires several times, but WAPDA officials did not listen to them, which led to the accident.
People say that if the concerned agencies had solved the problem of wires in time, many buffaloes would not have died today. Police are investigating the incident.
Residents of the area have been assured that they will get justice.
