The PCB has set its sights on hosting ICC events – IG News

LAHORE: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has set its sights on hosting ICC events.

According to details, the PCB has expressed interest in hosting ICC events between 2024 and 2031.

Sources said that the events in February and June in the new circle are not possible for the PCB.

Events in October include the 2027 and 2031 Cricket World Cups, the 2028 T20 World Cup and the 2029 Champions Trophy.

According to sources, the PCB wants to hold the 2029 Champions Trophy alone, while the PCB wants to host the other three World Cups jointly with the three countries.

It should be noted that the T20 World Cup is scheduled in India in October-November this year, but due to the increase in Corona cases in India, the World Cup is likely to be shifted to the UAE.
