The right to vote is great news for Pakistanis abroad – IG News

ISLAMABAD: A bill to give voting rights to Pakistanis abroad has been passed by the National Assembly. The right to vote will now be presented in the Senate.

According to details, Federal Minister Murad Saeed in his statement on social networking site Twitter said that the right to vote for Pakistanis abroad has been approved by the Kabul National Assembly, the bill will be presented in the Senate, the opposition to the bill to give the right to vote to Pakistanis abroad. Congratulations to the government members who approved the bill.

Adviser to the Prime Minister on Parliamentary Affairs Dr. Babar Awan in his statement on Twitter said that congratulations to Pakistanis abroad, after 73 years, the right of overseas Pakistanis to vote was approved by the Kabul Assembly, the opposition boycotted the vote and also opposed the bill.
