On June 11, 1978, a student organization called All Pakistan Muhajir Students Organization was announced against the admission and other policies of Karachi University, which is celebrating its 43rd founding day today. (Later this organization was renamed as All Pakistan Muttahida Students Organization).
The two factions of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Pakistan held separate programs on the occasion of the 43rd founding day of APMSO.
MQM Pakistan held a program at the park adjacent to the temporary center of Bahadurabad while Dr Farooq Sattar, head of the United Organization Rehabilitation Committee, conducted the program at PIB.
Addressing the APMSO Foundation Day celebrations, Dr. Farooq Sattar said, “The founders of Pakistan have always made sacrifices. The young generation made June 11 a revolutionary day.”
He said that APMSO is the only organization which gave birth to a political party because its students have become wings after the formation of other political parties. This movement was formed in Karachi, which is the day of renewal. The ancestors have come out to save the country.
Faisal Sabzwari’s speech
Addressing the workers, Senator Faisal Sabzwari, a member of the MQM Pakistan Coordinating Committee, alleged that the PPP has been running the Sindhudesh movement in the province for 13 years. We will protest against the robbery.
“The credit for allocating a budget of Rs 5 billion for the census goes to the MQM because we raised our voice on it and will continue to raise our voice against injustice,” he said.

Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, convener of MQM Pakistan and a member of the National Assembly, said, “We were intentional and voluntary Pakistanis but now it has been made Sindhi voluntarily.
He said, “This is the real MQM. Everything else is artificial. Whoever wants unity should come. Our doors are open. How can a person who has left in difficult times return to his post?”
Announcing a public rally against the Sindh government on June 15, Dr Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui claimed that “Karachi will be held on June 15. We will say that this city does not belong to any one but to all.”
