Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah in a statement on the status of corona virus said that 11458 samples were tested in the last 24 hours. As a result, 608 new cases were reported.
The Chief Minister said that 24 deaths were reported in the last 24 hours. Thus, the total number of deaths has reached 5220. He said that 798 more patients have recovered today. Thus, the total number of healthy people has reached 298344.
He said that so far 4260882 samples have been tested. And so far 327004 cases have been reported. Currently 23440 patients are undergoing treatment. Out of which 22704 are being treated in homes, 21 in isolation centers and 715 patients in various hospitals. While 676 patients are in critical condition, 56 patients are on ventilators.
He said that out of 608 new cases in the province, 393 were from Karachi. Of these, 129 new cases were reported in East District, 86 in Central District, 77 in South District, 48 in Malir District, 31 in Korangi District and 22 in West District.
While in other districts Hyderabad 23, Shaheed Benazirabad 23, Mirpur Khas 19, Badin 17, Jamshoro 13, Nowshero Feroze 10, Sanghar 10, Umerkot 10, Qambar 9, Khairpur 9, Sujawal 9, Tando Muhammad Khan 9, Tharparkar 8, Jacobabad 8, One case has also been reported from Matiari 6, Tando Allahyar 6, Kashmore 4, Sukkur 4, Dadu 2, Larkana 1 and Shikarpur.
