Riyadh: Gold prices rose again in Saudi Arabia on Friday. The effects of the international market are also beginning to be felt in the Saudi market.
According to the emergency website, the price of 24 carat gold per gram in Saudi Arabia was 228.95 riyals on Friday. Twenty-one carat one gram of gold sold for 200.33 riyals. Twenty-one carat gold is the most common custom in the country.
The price of 18 carat gold per gram was recorded at 171.72 riyals while the price of 14 carat gold per gram was 133.56 riyals.
In Saudi Arabia, the price of an ounce of gold reached 7121.25 riyals while the 21 carat 8 gram gold biscuit remained available at 1602.68 riyals.
Gold prices in the international gold market had risen only on Thursday. Gold became more expensive than expected last month. An ounce of gold reached 189 1893.75 in instant trading. An increase of 0.3% has been recorded.
