Bangladesh star Shakib Al Hasan escaped a major ban despite venting his anger on the on-field umpire’s decision twice in the same match.
He will not be able to play three matches in the Dhaka Premier League, while a fine of Rs 500,000 has also been imposed.
Shakib Al Hasan is representing Muhammadan Sporting Club in the Dhaka Premier League.
On one occasion during the match against Abhani Limited on Friday, the umpire declared the batsman not out on the ball of Shakib Al Hasan.
On another occasion, when the umpire declared the batsman not out on the bowler’s ball, Shakib Al Hasan lost his temper and rushed to the pitch in anger, uprooting all three wickets with his hands.
Shakib Al-Hassan apologized to his fans and said that he would not do such a thing again.
Shakib Al Hasan has been suspended for three matches for violating Level 3 and fined Rs 500,000.
