Birmingham: National team captain Babar Azam broke Imran Khan’s record by playing an innings of 158 runs against England as captain.
According to the details, the individual innings of national team captain Babar Azam was the highest score of any Pakistani player against the English team. Babar also broke Imran Khan’s record of a century against the host team.
Imran Khan played a century innings on his home soil against England in 1983.
Babar Azam has become the first Pakistani player to cross the 1,000-run milestone against the English team on his home soil with three century innings.
National team captain Babar Azam scored his 14th career century against England.
Babar Azam completed his half century off 50 balls and scored the next 50 runs off 32 balls.

It should be noted that Saeed Anwar has the honor of scoring the most centuries in ODIs for Pakistan. Saeed Anwar scored 20 centuries in 244 innings.

Babar Azam scored 14 centuries in just 81 innings, Babar needs a century to equal Muhammad Yusuf’s record of centuries.
On the other hand, Babar Azam also crossed the milestone of scoring 2,000 runs in 45 innings.
Earlier, Hashim Amla had scored 40 innings, Zaheer Abbas and Kevin Pietersen had scored 2,000 runs in 45 innings.
