Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami Karachi Hafiz Naeem threatened to sit outside the Chief Minister’s House and protest for the rights of students.
Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman said that anti-education measures of Sindh government are not acceptable, whatever strategy the students take, we stand by them.
The Student Action Committee has demanded that no degree other than Dow is acceptable otherwise the protest will continue.
Addressing a press conference at Noor-e-Haq Karachi, Hafiz Naeem said that if the Sindh government’s anti-education measures were not withdrawn, the Chief Minister would stage protests and sit-ins outside the House.
Amir Jamaat-e-Islami Karachi said that certificates should be issued to the students of Dow University as per their demand. Jamaat-e-Islami is with the students at all levels.
Speaking to the media on the occasion, the leaders of the Parents and Students Action Committee said that the administration was harassing them as they were nowhere to be found in the Sindh Institute.
