PML-N leader and former prime minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi says Imran Khan, his ministers and NAB chairman have never read history.
Talking to media after the hearing in the accountability court in Islamabad, PML-N leader and former prime minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said that cameras should be installed in the courts so that the public knows the nature of the cases.
He said that it was unfortunate that doctors were not heard in the justice system in this country and they did not get justice. Billions of rupees had been spent by the government in these cases.
Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said that there is no process of accountability in Pakistan, there is an attempt to turn politics through cases.
He said that 13 members of our family were involved in the LNG case. The fact of this case has been clarified by the Islamabad High Court.
The former prime minister said that NAB officials should read the details of the case so that they know the truth. It has been 3 years since the government and they have not found a single case against us.
He said that those who run NAB today are adamant that we have to be held accountable, every week a new scandal of the government comes to light.
The PML-N leader further said that NAB is an institution to cover up crime and government scandals.
Shahid Khaqan Abbasi also says that the ministers openly say that they did it but the NAB does nothing. By negating the constitution, they remember democracy.
