ISLAMABAD: A local court has extended the physical remand of the accused in a case of violence against a girl and a boy for four days while the victim boy and girl have started regular follow-up of the case.
According to details, a case related to torture and nudity of a girl and a boy was heard in the District and Sessions Court in E-11 Islamabad.
All the accused, including the main accused Usman Mirza, were taken to the F8 court and produced in the court of Judicial Magistrate Waqar Gondal.
During the hearing, great progress was made in the case and the victim boy and girl started following the case regularly. The victim boy and girl’s lawyer Hassan Javed Shorash appeared before the court.
Police requested further physical remand of the accused. Lawyer Shafqat Abbasi said that he was a lawyer on behalf of Hafiz Atta-ur-Rehman, to which the Judicial Magistrate said that he had heard Surah Yaseen from him on the first day.
The court inquired about the physical remand of the accused. The public prosecutor said that the accused have been remanded for 6 days and 2 mobile phones and a pistol were recovered from the main accused Usman Mirza while the statement of 164 plaintiffs has been recorded.
The public prosecutor said that the accused had received Rs 1.125 lakh from the plaintiffs from time to time. A two and a half hour video was made in which 12 accused were involved.
The public prosecutor added that new provisions of 375A, including life imprisonment, have been imposed. In the two-and-a-half-hour video, the accused stripped the woman naked and touched her.
The public prosecutor said that a separate FIR has been registered against the accused for exporting pistols while section 384 of extortion has also been imposed separately.
After which the court extended the physical remand of the main accused Usman Mirza and other accused for four days.
