Chandigarh: More than 400 green parrots have mysteriously died in the Indian state of Punjab, leaving citizens and experts in a state of panic.
According to Indian media reports, the National Green Tribunal of India has ordered the Punjab Forest Department to find out the cause of the mysterious death of 400 parrots in Faridkot.
Justice Adarsh Kumar also directed the head of the forest department and officials of the environment department to take action on the matter.
The bench hearing the case of death of parrots said, “It may be difficult to find the cause of increasing deaths of other birds including parrots. The forest department should start work with the help of environmentalists and other experts so that we avoid further damage.” سکیں ‘۔

According to Indian media reports, a large number of green parrots were found dead under the plum trees on June 11, while they were sprayed here on June 10.
The court also sought a reply from the deputy commissioner of Faridkot on the matter and a report on measures taken for the protection of birds.
Environmentalists believe that the chemical spray in Faridkot has caused the deaths of parrots and other birds, the death of parrots has not been finalized yet.
