ISLAMABAD: The National Command and Operations Center (NCOC) has taken a major decision to repatriate Pakistanis stranded abroad. International flight operations have been increased to 50% on the instructions of the NCOC. ۔
According to details, a meeting of the NCOC was held in Islamabad today, in which it was said that the flight operation has been increased to evacuate Pakistanis stranded abroad. This decision will be applicable from July 15, 2021.
According to the NCOC, the increase will enable an additional 2,500 to 3,000 people to come to Pakistan daily. Instructions have also been issued to the airport and other concerned agencies to make additional arrangements in this regard.
The NCOC says that from August 1, the vaccine will also be a prerequisite for domestic air travel, while strict checks have been issued on all routes to tourist destinations on Eid, and for all tourist destinations. Vaccination will be mandatory.
On the other hand, it has been decided to seek the help of Pakistan Army for the implementation of Corona SOPS.
The NCOC also said that Pakistan has crossed the milestone of administering more than 20 million vaccine doses. Excess vaccines have been given.
