ISLAMABAD: The Prime Minister has directed to bring out the facts within 48 hours regarding the alleged abduction of the daughter of the Afghan ambassador.
According to details, Prime Minister Imran Khan took notice of the alleged abduction of the Afghan ambassador’s daughter and directed Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid to arrest those involved in the incident.
The Prime Minister said that the police and other law enforcement agencies should investigate the case on a preliminary basis and use all available resources to bring out the facts and arrest the culprits within the next 48 hours.
Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid has said that Islamabad police is in constant touch with the Afghan ambassador and the girl and all steps are being taken to arrest the culprits.
A Foreign Office spokesman also reacted to the incident today. The spokesman said that the Afghan embassy had reported the daughter of the Afghan ambassador yesterday. The daughter of the Afghan ambassador was attacked while traveling in a taxi. Islamabad police have launched an investigation after the incident was reported.
