Riyadh: Saudi King Rawa Shah Salman and Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman have expressed regret over the deaths in a natural disaster in Germany.
According to details, the Saudi leadership has sent a letter to German Chancellor Angela Merkel regarding the flood deaths in Germany.
In separate letters to the German Chancellor, the Saudi leadership has expressed regret over the deaths caused by the torrential rains.
According to the Saudi Press Agency, King Salman said in his letter that he was aware of the damage caused by the torrential rains and floods in Germany, and that he was deeply saddened by the deaths, injuries and disappearances of many people.
“We hope that the injured will recover soon, while the missing will be traced so that they can meet their loved ones soon,” he wrote.
In his letter to German Chancellor Angela Merkel, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman said he was “deeply saddened” by the loss of life caused by the floods in Germany.
He wrote that those who were injured are hoping for a speedy recovery, while sharing in the grief of the bereaved.
