In Sindh, more than 1,300 cases of corona virus have been reported in the last 24 hours, while five people have died in the province.
According to a statement issued by Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah, 15908 samples were tested in the last 24 hours in the province, out of which 1359 new cases were reported.
He said that 5 deaths were reported from this epidemic in the last 24 hours after which the total number of deaths in the province has reached 5702.
He said that 389 more patients have been cured in Sindh today after which the total number of cured people in the province has reached 320215.
The Chief Minister said that 4776235 samples have been tested in Sindh so far out of which 355445 cases have been reported so far.
He also said that 29,528 corona patients are currently undergoing treatment, out of which 28,487 are being treated in homes, 70 in isolation centers and 971 patients in various hospitals.
The Sindh Chief Minister said that the condition of 889 patients was said to be critical while 59 patients were on ventilators.
He said that out of 1359 new cases in the province, 1051 cases are from Karachi out of which 367 cases were reported from Eastern District, 222 from Central District, 150 from Korangi, 220 from South, 59 from Malir and 33 from West District.
The Sindh Chief Minister said that 61 in Hyderabad, 33 in Sukkur, 24 in Jamshoro, 24 in Thatta, 17 in Shaheed Benazirabad and Kashmore, 17 in Sanghar, 15 in Sanghar, 14 in Sujawal and Tharparkar, 14 in Badin and 13 in Matiari. 8 cases were reported in Umerkot, 7 in Khairpur, 6 in Nowshero Feroze, 5 in Dadu, 2 each in Ghotki, Mirpur Khas and Tando Muhammad Khan while one case was reported from Larkana and Tando Allahyar.
