Karachi: On Eid-ul-Adha, the Sindh government has banned sacrifices outside homes.
According to details, the Sindh government has banned sacrificing outside the houses, a notification was issued by the Sindh Home Department.
The Sindh Home Department has said that due to the spread of corona virus, sacrifice is not allowed in urban residential areas, open field should be chosen for animal sacrifice, and no gathering should be held while sacrificing animals.
The Sindh Home Department has directed the commissioners, deputy commissioners and police to take action against the violators of SOPs. The department has said that Eid prayer gatherings will also be held in an open space and at one place. But more than one congregation of Eid prayers should be held at different times.
According to the notification, those coming for Eid prayers should be given a thermal scanner, social distance should be maintained during prayers, and sick people, children and senior citizens should not be allowed to participate in Eid gatherings.
The Sindh Home Department has said that people offering Eid prayers should wear face masks and citizens should avoid shaking hands and hugging after Eid prayers.
