ISLAMABAD: Asim Saleem Bajwa has said that Pakistan has suffered the most after Afghanistan due to terrorism. Seeing a lot of fighting in this region, now we need development.
These views were expressed by Chairman C-Pack Authority Asim Saleem Bajwa while talking in ARY program Power Play. He said that ships of different countries are coming to Gwadar port, we are hungry for development and we are working for it.
Asim Saleem Bajwa said that we want peace in this region, we have seen a lot of fighting in this region and now we need development.
He said that we have to pay more attention to manpower, 1200 locals are working in Gwadar port and further employment will be provided to more locals.
Chairman C-Pac Authority said that C-Pac has a 40-point agreement with China and investment is coming in C-Pac.
He said that an airport is also being constructed in Gwadar and hospitals, nursing institutes and medical colleges are also being constructed. There is a problem of water here and therefore dams are being constructed.
Asim Saleem Bajwa told ARY News that a grid station is being constructed for electricity in Gwadar and this grid station will be connected to the national grid on the direction of the Prime Minister.
He further said that energy shortage was met by C-Pak, Multan Motorway was constructed from Sukkur through C-Pak, now the eastern route of C-Pak has been completed.
