Washington: A US court has sentenced a Trump supporter involved in the Capitol Hill attacks and riots to life in prison.
According to US media reports, the court on January 6 convicted the first accused in the Capitol Hill riots case, who belongs to the state of Florida.
The court sentenced Paul Allard Hodgkins to eight months in prison for rioting with a Trump flag.
The court ruled that Paul was convicted after watching a video of the riot, and was sentenced to life in prison.
It should be noted that on January 6, 2021, Trump’s supporters demonstrated in front of the main building of the US Congress and then they entered the Capitol Hill building in a rage.

Five people, including a police officer, were killed and dozens were injured in the riots. Police and law enforcement arrested hundreds of people after investigating the incident.
According to US media, 300 people involved in the attack are already on trial and the FBI tracked down the attackers through photos and videos.
