Singapore is one of the countries with the lowest crime rates in the world, but the brutal murder of a student in the same country was shocking.
According to a report by a foreign news agency, a 13-year-old boy was brutally murdered at a Singaporean high school. An ax has been recovered from the possession.
This is the first heartbreaking incident of its kind in a country without crime.
The report said that when the police arrived at the scene to report the injury of a student at the school, the boy was addicted to blood and died on the spot.
Police said that a 16-year-old fellow student was arrested on suspicion of murder and was being interrogated. The accused will be produced in court soon and the boy’s mental balance will also be tested.
Singapore’s Education Minister Chun Chun has expressed deep sorrow over the incident.
