Russian President Vladimir Putin has congratulated Muslims on Eid al-Adha and expressed good wishes for the health and well-being of Muslims in the country.
A special message from the Russian president on the Muslim religious holiday of Eid al-Adha has been posted on the Kremlin’s website.
In the message, the President said that Eid-ul-Adha is an ancient religious festival with centuries-old roots which attracts Muslims to their origins and values.
Vladimir Putin said the occasion of Eid al-Adha teaches mercy, justice and a cautious attitude towards others.
In a special message on Eid-ul-Adha, King Salman bin Abdulaziz thanked the Islamic countries for their support and assistance in preventing the spread of Corona.
Shah Salman bin Abdul Aziz said that with the support of Islamic countries, the best facilities could be provided for the pilgrims and the vaccination campaign also helped in providing a safe environment to the pilgrims.
Eid-ul-Adha is being celebrated today in many countries including Gulf countries including Saudi Arabia, UK, Russia, USA while Eid will be celebrated tomorrow in other countries including Pakistan, India and Iran.
