Pakistan gave England a target of 155 runs to win the third and decisive T20 match of the series.
In Manchester, Babar Azam won the toss and elected to bat first. The Green Shirts’ first wicket fell to 42 when Babar Azam was dismissed for 11.
Wicketkeeper-batsmen Mohammad Rizwan (76) and Hassan Ali (15) remained unbeaten. Fakhr Zaman scored 24 and Sohaib Maqsood 13 runs. Muhammad Hafeez and Shadab Khan could score only 2 runs.
Thus, Pakistan scored 154 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs. For this match, Haris Rauf has been replaced by Hassan Ali and Azam Khan has been replaced by Usman Qadir.
Adil Rashid 4 and Moin Ali took one wicket each for England.
It should be noted that the first match of this three-match series was won by Pakistan and the second by England.
