Jalabhishek in Nalhad temple, Brijmandal procession will be symbolic IG News

After the announcement of taking out a Shobha Yatra on Monday (August 28, 2023) in Haryana’s Nuh, the Vishwa Hindu Parishad has now decided to complete it symbolically. However, earlier the Haryana administration had not given its permission. At the same time, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar, referring to the violence that took place a few weeks ago, had said that permission has not been given for the yatra. So instead of participating in it, people can go to the temples of their respective areas for Jalabhishek. For this, citing law and order, he has called it the responsibility of the state government.

At the same time, the statement of Vishwa Hindu Parishad leader Vinod Bansal has also come. Posting on social media X, he has indicated to keep the Brijmandal Shobhayatra symbolic. Vinod Bansal wrote, “Our leader (Alok Kumar) is about to reach Nalhar temple and he will perform ‘Jalabhishek’ there. He will also be accompanied by representatives of the Hindu community… Keeping in mind the difficulties faced by the government and preparations for the G-20, we have decided to mark the end of the yatra symbolically.”

Let us inform that earlier Haryana’s IG (South Rewari Range) Rajendra Kumar had also said that Vishwa Hindu Parishad is being explained not to take out the yatra. At the same time, Vishwa Hindu Parishad’s spokesperson Vinod Bansal had given a statement, ‘Abhishek Yatra will be taken out only on 28th i.e. on the last Monday of Sawan. It is a pilgrimage and no permission is required for it.” Which he has now decided to keep symbolic in his new statement. According to his statement, now only a limited number of devotees will go to the Nalhad temple and perform Jalabhishek.

It is worth mentioning that earlier, in view of the security arrangements, the Haryana administration had imposed Section 144 and deployed a large number of police force and paramilitary forces from around the Nalhar temple to the borders of the mosque and Nuh. Also, bulk SMS and internet services have been suspended till 12 midnight on 28 August. The District Deputy Commissioner has ordered to keep all government and private educational institutions, banks, shops etc. closed on Monday. The Deputy Commissioner has appealed to the people to show patience and calm and not get involved in any suspicious activity.

Let us tell you that due to the attack of Islamic mob on July 31 in Nuhan of Mewat, Haryana, the ‘Brijamandal Jalabhishek Yatra’ of Hindus remained incomplete. 6 people lost their lives in this attack. At the same time, because of the G-20, it is being accomplished symbolically to maintain security, peace and harmony.
