On Monday, a procession took place on Dol Gyaras with drums and bands from about 25 temples of the city. Pictures and statues of Lord Shri Krishna were present in the idol. The procession passed through major intersections. More than a dozen Akharas of different societies including Das Hanuman Dal, Lavkush Akhara, Shri Ram Akhara participated in the walking ceremony.

The Akhara artist showed one amazing feat after another. Children showed their talent by using sticks and youth by using swords. The Yatra was welcomed by showering flowers at various places. Devotees worshiped Lord Krishna seated in the idol. At last all the parties gathered at Azad Chowk. From here they reached their respective temples with ceremonies. People from the city and surrounding areas were present in the moving ceremony. The ongoing ceremony continued till around 12 o’clock in the night. Many devotees came out from under the bucket.
