”””’ Applications were made several times before the officials of the district administration and higher education department for the new building. Last time Rs 5 crore was sanctioned but the PWD gave a report that the building was not capable of being dismantled. Due to this the amount went back. There is a shortage of rooms due to the overcrowding of classes. Also the building has become very old and dilapidated. Can’t say when what will happen, but the process of sending proposal for approval of funds for the new building and approval of funds is long, in such a situation, chemical treatment of the building will be done after taking guidance from experts. So that the building can be used for two-three years, till then the efforts will continue for the approval of new building construction.
