The jawan is being trolled on social media by calling it a copy of the story of Sathyaraj’s film ‘Thai Naadu’ released in 1989. Actor Satyaraj also played the double role of father and son in the 1989 film ‘Thai Naadu’. This film was directed by R Arvind Raj. The poster of this film has been released on social media and its similarities with Jawan have been pointed out.
The film ‘Jawaan’, being directed by Atlee Kumar, stars Nayanthara, Yogi Babu, Riddhi Dogra and Sunil Grover along with Shahrukh Khan. At the same time, Deepika Padukone has a cameo role in the film. Shah Rukh Khan and Atlee Kumar have worked for the first time in this film.
