Jayant Patil |…then MLAs from Shinde group will come to Uddhav Thackeray: Jayant Patil IG News

Leaders Online Desk: If 16 MLAs of Shiv Sena are disqualified, it is felt that the Shinde government in the state will definitely fall. After that, the rest of the MLAs along with the Shinde group are likely to go with former Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray. Since BJP is the largest party in terms of numbers, there is a possibility that the governor will contact them and if they have the strength in numbers, they can form the government, NCP state president Jayant Patil has said.

Assembly Speaker Rahul Norvekar will take a decision on the disqualification of 16 rebel Shiv Sena MLAs as per the Supreme Court directive. Meanwhile, even if 16 MLAs are disqualified, the Shinde-Fadnavis government in the state will not fall, there is no threat to the government, the leader of the opposition party in the state Ajit Pawar clarified while talking to the reporters. Meanwhile, Vidhan Sabha Speaker Rahul Narvekar said that I welcome the decision given by the Supreme Court on the power struggle in Maharashtra. In the decision given by the court, the constitutional discipline has been maintained. The powers of the Assembly Speaker are kept intact. It is often alleged that I will make decisions under political pressure; But I cannot stop this charge. I have not done any work under pressure till now. From now on also will not work under any pressure. Narvekar also clarified that we will take a decision as soon as possible, but there will be no rush.

I have petitions filed against 54 MLAs. A decision regarding the disqualification of MLAs will be taken after considering each of these petitions. The decision of disqualification of 16 MLAs will be taken according to the constitution and rules. It took 10 months for the court to rule on the power struggle. So even the Speaker of the Vidhan Sabha may take time. Narvekar also clarified at this time that I cannot tell how long it will take to take a decision on the constitutional issues.
