In a thrilling encounter in match 26 of Pakistan Super League 9 at the National Stadium Karachi, Karachi Kings emerged victorious over Lahore Qalandars by 3 wickets on the last ball of the match.

Opting to bowl first after winning the toss, Karachi Kings restricted Lahore Qalandars to 177 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in their allotted 20 overs. Fakhar Zaman led the charge with 54 runs, supported by Abdullah Shafiq who contributed 55 runs. Sikandar Raza and David Wiese provided valuable runs in the final over, scoring 22 and 24 runs respectively. Zahid Mehmood was the pick of the bowlers for Karachi Kings, claiming 2 wickets, while Anwar Ali and Blessing took 1 wicket each.

In pursuit of the target, Karachi Kings got off to a solid start with openers Tim Seifert and James Vince posting a fine opening partnership of 59 runs. Despite losing wickets at regular intervals, Karachi Kings managed to keep pace with the required run rate. Tim Seifert scored 36 runs, while James Vince contributed 42 runs to the chase. Captain Shan Masood and Shoaib Malik played crucial innings of 24 and 27 runs respectively, guiding their team towards victory. Irfan Khan also made a valuable contribution with 35 runs. Tayyab Abbas was the most successful bowler for Lahore Qalandars, dismissing two batsmen, while Shaheen Afridi, Zaman Khan, and Sikandar Raza claimed one wicket each.
