A Kingston, Ontario man is facing a list of charges after a recent encounter with police in Loyalist Township.
Ontario Provincial Police say that just before 2:30 a.m. on January 14, officers were dispatched to a report of a two-vehicle collision on County Road 4.
However, police also received a report of a stolen vehicle matching the description of one of the vehicles involved in the collision.

Officers reached the spot as soon as the information was received, the driver of the vehicle suspected of theft had fled on foot. However, the police contacted and arrested the accused.
Luke Hill, 42, of Kingston, has been charged with:
- Theft of a motor vehicle over $5,000
- dangerous operation
- did not stop after the accident
- operation while restricted
- failing to comply with a probation order
He was kept on bail for trial.
