The court here has stayed the decision of the Devasthan Committee to start VIP darshan and paid pass (paid pass) at Karveer Niwasini Mahalakshmi temple till November 26 at 6 pm. Due to this, it has become clear that even on the first day of the establishment of the temple, this initiative of the Devasthan Committee will not come into action.

Paschim Maharashtra Devasthan Samiti had decided to provide paid passes for the convenience of devotees during Navratri this year on the lines of some important temples in the state. Some devotees were opposed to this. Shri Pujak Gajanan Munishwar had filed a suit against this in the civil court here.

In the year 2010, the state government had issued an order that no temple committee should take money or stand in any other queue for darshan. He had said in the petition that this decision should be canceled as the Devasthan Committee had provided VIP darshan and paid pass against him. During the hearing held today, the Devasthan Committee and the Collector asked for an extension of the deadline. It was objected to. The Collector and the Devasthan Committee have given a verbal guarantee that they will not give paid pass or VIP darshan till the above mentioned period and accordingly the court has given adjournment. Advocate Narendra Gandhi and Omkar Gandhi worked on behalf of Munishwar.
