Launching a national women’s initiative to bring the nation’s factions together
The National Reunification Initiative launched today an initiative to try to unify the parties in Sudan by gathering representatives of all colors of the political spectrum and unifying visions in order to preserve the homeland. The initiative aims to ensure the success of the transitional period, the completion of power structures, the achievement of the democratic transition, and the achievement of the glorious December Revolution slogan (freedom, peace and justice).
Dr. Ihsan Al-Tom Muhammad Al-Sheikh, the presenter of the initiative, indicated that the initiative comes in light of the growing misunderstanding and the blockage of visions, and it carries the same meaning and content to bring together all the parties from the Sudanese spectrum and gather them in a round table for dialogue.
She explained to SUNA that the initiative depends on inviting all the parties and sitting with them, presenting their visions for the initiative and its provisions, and coming up with a unified joint declaration to help the success of the international initiative and its goals. He is the ruler and authority is implemented through the state and laws.
Ihsan said that the goal of the initiative is to gather the ranks after its launch today, all the parties will meet after a week with their visions to unify them and a joint declaration to be a road map for the Sudan we want.
She pointed out that the initiative is the first feminist media initiative that contributes to uniting the national ranks, adding that the initiative’s work will start in the Grand Hotel, symbolic of the Great House, which includes all colors of the political spectrum.
