Ghaziabad: A leopard entered the court premises under Kavinagar police station in Ghaziabad district on Wednesday and attacked six people. Assistant Commissioner of Police Abhishek Srivastava said the leopard entered the court premises in the afternoon and six persons were injured in its attack.
He said that the leopard was still inside the court premises and a joint operation was being carried out by the police and forest department officials to capture the leopard.

According to police sources, as soon as the news of leopard entering the court premises was received, the premises were evacuated. Sources said teams from the forest department and local police reached the court premises and helped evacuate those trapped inside the premises to safety.
Police said the injured have been admitted to the hospital and efforts are on to nab the leopard.
