Investigating Officer Rajgarh Police Officer Subhashchandra said that the villagers of Kailash village of Taranagar tehsil of Churu district had resolved to make liquor free a few months ago. A call was given to close illegal liquor shops in the village. But the liquor mafia found this thing exasperating. They put Rajendra Singh, a young man of the village, in a camper van and took him to a deserted place near Taranagar. There he was stripped naked and brutally beaten with wet branches of a tree and stripped of his skin. He also made a video of it. Although this matter is said to be five-six months old, but on August 24, when the video was shared on social media, the matter again came up for discussion.

Station Officer Subhashchandra said that after the video surfaced on social media, the victim’s brother Ashok Singh, a resident of Kailash, registered a case at Taranagar police station on August 25. It has been told in the report that on the evening of August 24, accused Vinod Meghwal put the video in the WhatsApp group of the village, after which his brother Rajendra Singh left the house without informing. There is no contact with him. Liquor seller Mahavir, Indra Poonia is still threatening to teach a lesson to those opposing the sale of liquor by abusing them personally and on mobile. At the same time, by making audio recordings viral on other WhatsApp groups made in the village, they are spreading fear among the villagers. After the case was registered, the police arrested Naresh Kumar, Sunil, Naseem and Rahul on Saturday night on charges of making the video viral after assault. The police produced the four youths in the court on Sunday and took them on remand for two days. They will be questioned when the video was made and by whom.
