The police have arrested all four accused.
Police have arrested four accused in the case of robbery of Rs 5 lakh from a pump employee a day earlier in Kotri town of the district. Police have arrested Kotri resident Devraj son of Ranjit Inspector, Kotri resident Vikas alias Shanu son of Naresh alias Mangal Dadhich, Richhada resident Manoj son of Girdhari Nayak and Bhagwanpura resident Kishan son of Shankar Inspector.
Among the arrested accused, Devraj had earlier worked at a petrol pump. He was the mastermind of this robbery. After this robbery, all four accused went to Joganiya Mata. All four were caught by the police while having a liquor party in a hotel. The police also recovered the money looted from the pump employee from the accused.
Kotri CO Shyam Sundar Vishnoi told that there is Raimal Budhamal petrol pump on Jahazpur Road in Kotri town. Mahendra Gurjar, an employee of this pump, had gone out on a bike on Tuesday afternoon carrying the pump’s collection of Rs 5 lakh 10 thousand in a bag. He had to deposit this money in the SBI bank of the town. Mahendra had just reached near Kotri bus stand when two miscreants riding a Splendor bike who came from behind hit his bike. Mahendra fell along with the bike. Meanwhile, the miscreants snatched the bag full of money from Mahendra’s hand and ran away on a bike towards Jaswantpura-Malikheda.
Vikas has been caught even while stealing money in Kotri Shyam Mandir
The accused Vikas alias Shanu, who was involved in the robbery, has also been caught while stealing the money from the donation box of Kotri Shyam Mandir. Accused Sanu and his father used to cook raw food in the temple and were also among the members counting the amount of donation box. It was here in 2020 that Sanu stole money while counting the amount.
