Man who threatened Mukesh Ambani and his family arrested from Bihar, mobile also recovered IG News

Mumbai Police has arrested a man from Bihar who threatened to kill billionaire industrialist Mukesh Ambani and his family. Officials gave this information here on Thursday. A team of Mumbai Police along with Bihar Police detained Rajesh Kumar Mishra from Darbhanga in Bihar and then left for Mumbai.

Acting after threatening calls to the Ambani family, a Mumbai Police team with the help of Bihar Police has detained a man from Darbhanga in Bihar at midnight, an official said. The team has left for Mumbai with the accused.

Along with death threats to the Ambani family, their iconic residence Antilia and Sir HN Reliance Foundation Hospital in south Mumbai were also threatened with bombs on Wednesday. An official spokesperson said that the call center of HNRF Hospital received bomb threats at 12.57 pm and 5.04 pm on the hospital building.

The caller had also threatened to kill Mukesh Ambani, his wife Nita Ambani, their children Akash and Anand. The hospital administration filed a formal complaint at the DB Marg police station and an investigation was launched immediately on Wednesday evening.
