International Tribal Rights Day is celebrated every year on 13 September. This year too, it has been celebrated in the form of workshops and seminars at small levels in the towns and villages of the district. As per the decision taken in the meeting of Tribal Society District Core Committee, the district level main program of International Tribal Rights Day will be organized on 22nd September at Panchayat Ground Sondwa as the closing ceremony of the weekly program. A large number of tribal people will participate in this and discuss the rights guaranteed at the international level.
We will also raise our voice for our constitutional rights. People of tribal society from the states like Gujarat, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra etc. will participate in the huge tribal conference. Speakers from other states including Engineer Satish Pendam (Maharashtra), President and Founder of Birsa Brigade will also be present as the keynote speaker. Tribal Society District Core Committee appealed to the people to make it a success by participating in the program in maximum numbers.
