Winnipeg police say a 14-year-old boy who went missing on Monday has been located.

The teen was last seen in the Elmwood area on Monday afternoon

Winnipeg police say a 14-year-old boy who went missing Monday has been found.

Responding to a missing persons alert issued at around 6.30 pm, police said the boy was last seen in the city’s Elmwood area at around 3.30 pm

Shortly before 8 pm, the police released an update saying that the teen had been found safely.

CBC has removed his name and photo to protect his privacy.
