Heroin recovered from arrested smugglers

Assam Rifles and Narcotics Department have arrested four drug smugglers in a joint operation in Mizoram. Heroin worth about Rs 5 crore has been recovered from drug smugglers. Eastern Headquarters of Assam Rifles said that 689.52 grams of heroin has been recovered in three separate cases in Champhai, Mizoram. Its market price has been estimated at around Rs 4.82 crore. The accused have been arrested from Chungate and Jote areas of Champhai district.
