Morena, Naiduniya, Rep. The mafia is illegally mining sand from the ghat of Ruar village in Chambal. On Monday, the Ambaha police reached here to arrest a tractor cart filled with sand. Meanwhile, near the village of Ruar, the police surrounded a tractor-trailer and the driver fled the scene.

The police seized the tractor cart and brought it to the police station, meanwhile one and a half to two dozen people gathered and started pelting stones at the police to free it, in such a situation the police had to retaliate.

The police fired a bullet into a tractor tire, which the mob failed to drive away. Meanwhile, the police party, seeing that it was surrounded, also called the Mahua police and the Porsa police stations.

After the arrival of the police, the villagers fled the scene, and the tractor and cart were seized and brought to the police station. However, the police admit that the villagers have obstructed something. The police denied that there was any shooting and stone pelting.
