All 74 Patwari Halke of Pandhurna and all 63 Patwari Halke of Saunsar Tehsil will be included in Pandhurna District Headquarters.

Bhopal (State Bureau). To make Pandhurna a district, the state government has issued a preliminary notification inviting claims and objections. On August 24, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan had announced that Pandhurna would be made the 55th district of the state. He had said that Pandhurna and Saunsar tehsils would be merged in the new district.
The Chief Minister had made this announcement after worshiping the land of Hanuman Lok in Chhindwara district’s famous Hanuman temple Jam Sawli. All 74 Patwari Halke of Pandhurna and all 63 Patwari Halke of Saunsar Tehsil will be included in Pandhurna District Headquarters.

Cabinet Minister Gaurishankar Bisen has taken seriously the complaint of charging more fare from students and passengers in buses plying from Balaghat to Bhopal and Indore during festivals. He discussed with Transport Commissioner, Collector Balaghat and Collector Indore and instructed to take strict action against the bus operators who charge more fare. He has appealed to the students that if they are charged more than the prescribed amount in buses, then they should complain about it immediately. Strict action will be taken against such bus operators.
