Nagpur: Home Minister and Guardian Minister Devendra Fadnavis’s home town Nagpur has seen a rise in crime and a series of murders. Another murder has been reported in this series. A youth has been murdered in Barse Nagar under Pachpawali police station of Nagpur. It has come to light that the young man was killed in a love triangle. The name of the dead youth is Abhinav alias Shoki Ravindra Bhoyer (22 Barse Nagar). After the murder, the accused fled from the spot. Both the deceased and the accused have a criminal background. A case of murder has been registered against Abhinav in 2018. On getting information about the incident, the police immediately reached the spot and sent the body to Mayo Hospital for autopsy.

Apart from Abhinav there are two more brothers in the house and mother and father. Deceased Abhinav had an affair with a girl. However, now they have broken up. This is the main reason for this murder. Because, now the accused of this girl was having an affair with a young man named Kashish Mahajan. Due to this, there was an argument between the deceased and the accused. Due to this dispute, Kashish fatally attacked Abhinav even seven months ago. After that there was no dispute between the two.

On Wednesday afternoon, when Abhinav was sitting on a tapri in Barse Nagar after finishing night shift duty, accused Kashish Mahajan along with his friend Sayal Mahajan and Gaurav alias Gulya Masurkar approached Abhinav and started arguing with Abhinav after which the accused first beat Abhinav with kicks and punches. Meanwhile, he was also attacked with a knife. Abhinav died on the spot in this attack. On getting information about this incident, Pachapavali police rushed to the spot and sent the body for post-mortem. After the murder, the accused absconded. Police are searching for the accused.
