Nepal Airlines will operate flight from Bhairahawa to Delhi via Kathmandu IG News

Kathmandu, Aug 27 (PTI) Nepal’s national carrier will operate a weekly flight from the Gautam Buddha International Airport in Bhairahawa to Delhi and Hong Kong, with Kathmandu as a transit point.

According to Nepal Airlines spokesperson Ramesh Poudel, ticket booking has started for this.

Initially, Bhairahawa-Hong Kong and Bhairahawa-Delhi flights will be operated every Tuesday via Kathmandu. He said that the number of flights will be increased as per the demand.

The flight will depart from Bhairahawa at 8.15 am and reach Kathmandu at 9 am. The passengers will then fly to Hong Kong and Delhi respectively in two different aircraft of the airline.

Passengers can ‘check in’ at Bhairahawa, where they will be provided with boarding passes for the final destination.

Commercial operations were started on 16 May 2022 from Gautam Buddha International Airport.
