NITI Aayog has responded to Telangana CM KCR’s comments. NITI Aayog has been set up in the spirit of cooperative federation with the aim of making a strong nation with strong states. The NITI Aayog has made it clear that it has taken several steps to work with the states. Last year NITI Aayog Vice Chairman/members held more than 30 meetings with CMs of different states and resolved many problems related to the states. Telangana Chief Minister KCR said that no meeting was held with the NITI Aayog, which ignored their requests. The organization revealed that KCR’s decision not to attend the NITI Aayog meeting to be held on Sunday was unfortunate. It also revealed that the Center is providing all kinds of financial assistance to the states.
It said that the allocation of Central Government sponsored schemes was Rs. 2,03,740 crore in 2015-16. It has increased to Rs. 4,42,781 crore for the year 2022-23. It said that if Rs.3,982 crores were allocated to Telangana under the Jal Jeevan Mission… Telangana took only Rs.200 crores. NITI Aayog revealed that Rs.1,195 crores have been released under the PMKSY-ABP scheme. It is unfortunate that NITI Aayog has decided not to participate in the August 7 Governing Council meeting and is trying to politicize the issues with baseless allegations. He said the Governing Council is a platform where Team India discusses at the highest level and suggests effective solutions for the development of the country.
