On the occasion of Ugadi, TTD announced that the VIP break darshans in Tirumala on March 21 and 22 are cancelled. It has been clarified that no letters of recommendation will be accepted regarding those two days. In Tirumala Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple, on 22nd of this month, Sri Sobhakrit Nama Sanshavara Ugadi Asthana will be organized in a Sastrok. TTD announced this. In honor of this festival, the temple will be purified after the Suprabhata Seva.
On the day of Ugadi at 6 o’clock in the morning, Sridevi Bhudevi along with Sri Malayappaswamy and Vishvaksen are offered a special offering. Between 7 am and 9 am they enter the temple in a procession around the viman prakaram and the flag pole. After that, Srivari Moolavirattu and Utsava Murthy are dressed in new clothes.
