Let’s know everything about the Hero Maestro Xoom’s styling, variants, features, engine, hardware and above all the price before its launch on January 30.

Hero MotoCorp will soon update its portfolio with the launch of the Maestro Xoom on January 30, 2023. This product will get several premium features and here we will tell you what we will see on this upcoming motorcycle

The new Maestro Xoom will have a modern design that will appeal to younger buyers. Fine details are not yet available. However, the teaser image of this upcoming scooter shows styling cues like an apron-mounted, body-colored front fender, sharp body panels and a flat seat. Since this scooter will primarily be targeted at young buyers, we expect to see darker color options on offer.

While official details about the variants are scarce, leaked documents have revealed that this scooter will be available in three variants – LX, VX and ZX. The LX will be the most affordable version while the ZX will top the list. We expect the ZX variant to benefit from Bluetooth connectivity and pack features like call notifications and turn-by-turn navigation. This variant will also get alloy wheels and front disc brakes. Meanwhile, lower variants may get drum brakes and steel wheels.

The teaser shows LED lighting, and we expect this to be a standard feature across the entire Maestro Xoom range. We expect all variants to get an LCD screen to display ride-related data. Meanwhile, the highest-spec variant may get a Bluetooth module that will work with a dedicated smartphone application. Then, the safety net across the range should include a combined braking system and a side-stand engine cut-off function. The company may add i3S start-stop technology to this scooter to improve fuel economy.

the engine

The mechanical specifications, as seen in the leaked document, will remain the same as the Maestro Edge 110 Thus, the upcoming Maestro Xoom will use a BS6-compliant 110.9cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine. This motor is tuned to deliver a maximum output of 8.04bhp at 7,250rpm and a peak torque of 8.70Nm at 5,750rpm in the Maestro Edge 110. We expect to see similar numbers in the Maestro Xoom as well

The hardware will also be the same as the Maestro Edge 110. Thus, we expect the new Maestro Xoom to use telescopic front forks and a single rear spring to handle suspension duties. Then, the base model’s braking setup may include drum brakes. On the other hand, the VX variant may have a disc brake at the front. Like the Maestro Edge, the Xoom variant gets 12-inch front and 10-inch rear wheels.
