Kekdi Savar police station arrested an accused while taking action against illegal liquor on Monday. A car along with 5 cases of country liquor has also been recovered from the possession of the accused.
Under the direction of Superintendent of Police Raj Kumar Gupta, action has been taken against illegal liquor under the leadership of Savar police station officer Manvendra Singh. Acting near Govindpura village, Savar police station has arrested Babulal’s son Jatan Lal Sausi (38), resident of Sausi Basti Savar, accused of illegal liquor.
240 pavves of country liquor have been recovered from the possession of the accused in 5 boxes of illicit liquor. The police have also seized the car being used to transport illegal liquor. Head constable Bhanwar Lal, constables Mahendra Kumar and Pramod of Savar police station were involved in the action.
