Police officials said that Sonu (28) was a resident of Aya Nagar, Delhi and he had come to a farmhouse in Baliyawas village with his friends on Monday evening.
Police said that all the friends were taking bath in the swimming pool late in the evening, when Sonu started drowning. His friends pulled him out. He was taken to Safdarjung Hospital in Delhi where doctors declared him dead.
