Varanasi, May 27: A shocking incident has come to light in Kashi, a city of religion and spirituality. On the banks of the Ganges and within a stone’s throw of Baba Vishwanath Durbar, pork is being served openly to devotees who come here. This has caused a great stir. After filing a complaint in this matter with the police, now the action has also started.
What exactly happened –
Following a complaint, police from Dashashwamedh Police Station reached this restaurant called Sushi Cafe and started an investigation. A preliminary investigation also found a picture of a pork dish on the restaurant’s menu. Dashashwamedh ACP Awadhesh Kumar Singh said that besides arresting two persons from the spot, raw material and other items present there have been seized. The Food Department team will now investigate these seized items, after which further action will be taken.

According to the information received, the restaurant was operating in the Hathi Phatak area within Dashashwamedh police station limits in the city, where people were served pork. Shripati Mishra, who complained to the police, said that he had received information that pork was being served in a restaurant near the temple of Baba Vishwanath Dham on the banks of the Ganges.
Apart from Swiggy and Zomato, it was also distributed online. Which is completely wrong. On the other hand, in this case Additional CP Santosh Kumar Singh said that the investigation of the matter is going on and action will be taken against all after the investigation.
